Setting up a New iPod

After iTunes has been installed, you might want to import music that you want to transfer to your iPod. In order for you to do so, jut simply click on “File”. From there you can update your library one file at a time by just choosing “Add File to Library.” Better yet, an entire folder of music, just choose “Add Folder to Library.”

Do this procedure until all the songs you wanted are now accessible. Now you are set on to adding media into your iPod.

By this time, iTunes will ask that you give your iPod a name. Now this has to be put in mind that you can only sync your iPod with that particular computer. If you try to add music from somebody else’ playlist, it won’t work. Forcing this may result to having all your music deleted.

All of the music files in your library will automatically sync with your iPod. Now that you are set, you can use your iPod with ease.
