MyCuredComputer’s Fair Usage Policy
What do you mean by “unlimited support”? There are no set limits on the support that we provide in plans marked “unlimited”. We don’t believe that you should be constrained by limitations on receiving computer repairs and support. We want you to have the support that everyone deserves due to the recurring trend of computer problems.
Still, we do need to be sure that we’re providing all of our customers with optimum service. As such, we do require all customers to be fully compliant with our Terms of Service and do not abuse the right to receive support.
While it is rare, we may need to put constraints on accounts that are adversely affecting other customers or otherwise utilizing or abusing our services beyond what would be expected of a person or small business.
What will happen to accounts that don’t comply with the Terms of Service or go beyond normal usage?
Through our customer management system, we maintain a variety of human and automated controls to monitor customer support incidents. If the customer management system identifies an account that is not in compliance with our Terms or that has the potential to negatively impact the support we provide to other customers, we may need to temporarily suspend that account. Of course, we will notify the owner of the account and work with them to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
The most common situations involve customers who call repeatedly everyday during the lifetime of their account or try to have a computer repaired that is not on their account.
What is “Normal” usage? Normal usage means that your support requests are in a manner similar to most of our other customers. For example, the support requirements of a single computer repair plan is not equal to those of a multi-computer plan and their resource requirements would vary considerably.
Why are the normal usage guidelines in place? Because we offer support to customers from around the world, and each customer should have the ability to receive the full experience of our services. While our Experts are staffed to handle our support volumes, we do need to make sure that our Experts are available and able to work with all of our customer’s requests.
Abuse is an unusual occurrence, but one which we manage carefully to protect our users from service degradations. Still, we want our customers to understand that there are guidelines in place before they purchase our services. Subscribers MAY NOT switch computers on the account unless the presently subscribed computer is rendered useless due to a hardware problem that is outside of the scope of the MyCuredComputer services. In the event that MyCuredComputer may need to switch computers on the account, the new computer must be in complete working condition the day it is added to the account. The Unlimited Repair plan pricing is based on a per computer fee, the prices listed are based on supporting a single computer system. Multiple computers may be added to a single account, however there is a separate fee for each computer added to the account.
